Week of September 1st, 2020

Welcome Back to School, Mastbaum Scholars!! I am so excited to have you in my class this year and look forward to learning and collaborating with you.

This is an unprecedented time. Never before have we been forced out of school buildings and into a virtual environment. There is a lot of NEW for everyone. As we move forward, we will stay positive and help each other out so that we ALL can be successful in everything we do.

As we start the year, I would like you all to know that your health, safety and over all well-being are my top priorities. If you need ANYTHING (supplies, math help, just to chat, help dealing with siblings, etc.), please reach out and let me and your other teachers know. You are not alone. If we can't help you directly, we can help put you in touch with people that can.

We have lots of exciting things planned for this year. If you keep positive and keep learning, I can guarantee you success. Let's be successful together.

Important Information:

• School starts at 7:50 and goes to 2:54. Please know your schedule. You are expected to be online for every class on time.
• Every Friday, at least through October, is a half day video and half-day offline work so that teachers can get addition learning opportunities for the systems we are being asked to use with you.
• Days Off:
  • Monday, September 7th, 2020 - Labor Day
  • Monday, September 28th, 2020 - Yom Kippur
