All students will become skilled readers, writers, thinkers, and communicators through rigorous, inclusive, meaningful, and engaging literacy experiences grounded in the Science of Reading, structured literacy, and evidence-based instructional practices that empower them to see themselves reflected in literature,  value diverse perspectives, and deepen their understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them.
