Task 1: Do I Have a Right?
Play iCivic's "Do I Have a Right". Create your Lawfirm, choose your Avatar and beat the game. Choose 2 rights that you find to be the most vital and 1 that you value least. You will meet with your teammates to brainstorm and decide amongst yourselves as to which right you will argue to keep!
Instead of simply researching the rights guaranteed in the Consitution of the United States, we will Gamify your learning. View the slideshow to prepare and when you're ready, begin.
Do not worry about your score at first, learn to play the game and see which rights mean the most to you. We will play a few times.
Choose 2 rights that you really value and one that you feel would have the least positive impact to keep in this scenario.
We will discuss in our groups and as a class for review.
