At Back-to-School Night, we had our annual Fall Title I Meeting.

Accepting Applications
We are excited to offer daily afterschool programming for K to 5 at Cook-Wissahickon beginning next school year!
We will share more in the coming months.

We will hold a parent meeting in May to introduce the program.
Required Volunteer and Trip Clearances
Parents and other volunteers must have clearances to volunteer or attend class trips. There is NO exceptions to this policy as required by state law.
Getting clearances is a simple process outlined on the district's web page. Once you have completed the steps and received the required documentation, bring it all to the school, where we will copy and keep them on file.
An Important Message About Attendance
Promotion/Retention Policy
In grades 1 and 2, students must pass reading and math.
In grades 3 through 7, students must pass reading, math, and science.
In grade 8, students must pass reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
Policy Statement
The policy of the School District of Philadelphia requires all students to meet specified requirements for promotion, and the School District requires all students to meet specified requirements for promotion and graduation by federal, state, and local guidelines.
The School District of Philadelphia policy requires all students to meet specified requirements in addition to local, state, and federal requirements.
Children with disabilities will be promoted or will graduate if their IEP team has set forth promotion or graduation requirements in their IEP that differ from those outlined in this document.
