Free COVID-19 Testing is Available for Students
The School District of Philadelphia is partnering with DOCS Health, CHOP, and the Philadelphia Department of Health to make FREE COVD-19 Testing available for students. All students attending in-person and through Philadelphia Virtual Academy are eligible be tested for COVID-19.
Please bring identification and health information.
No co-pay is required. Uninsured patients will still be tested.

Children may worry about themselves, their family, and friends getting ill with COVID-19. Parents, family members, school staff, and other trusted adults can play an important role in helping children make sense of what they hear in a way that is honest, accurate, and minimizes anxiety or fear.

Common signs and symptoms of COVID-19:
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
If you or your child has any of these symptoms - not associated with a current health condition - please contact your healthcare provider for guidance.
If you or your child does not have a primary healthcare provider, the City of Philadelphia has a number of Health Centers that offer medical care at little to no cost. Below is the information for Health Center 10. Nurse Kevin also has a list of pediatricians located in the neighborhood. Please contact him directly if you would like the list.
