Artist Statement:

As we all know, this first quarter was centered around Tales of Two Planets and climate change. But climate change is such a broad, and frankly vague topic. How would one tackle such an insurmountable challenge of understanding climate change, what has caused it, and how it has affected the world? There were many ways, but to me, the most important was researching our own home city. Writing narrative pieces—and studying it in Tales of Two Planets—helped us express our feelings and experiences with climate change.
