How to get into Advanced Classes (AP/IB/Honors):
Get the best grades you can. A B or better final grade in all of your Social Studies classes is required to apply for advanced courses. If you have a few low grades, don't give up! Show your teachers that you are a consistent, hard worker.
Apply for advanced courses (AP/IB/Honors) during the Course Selection period, which usually happens at the beginning of the second semester of school.
