Guided by the ASCA National Model, they are dedicated professionals who collaborate with students, parents, and educators to create a positive and supportive school environment. School counselors are champions for every student, helping them thrive in three key domains:
2. Social/Emotional Development
3. College and Career Readiness
Whether it's providing guidance for academic goals, empowering students with life skills, or preparing them for their futures, our counselors are here to inspire confidence, nurture growth, and celebrate every step of the journey.

The 3 Domains
You may remember having a "guidance counselor" in school—someone who focused on scheduling or career advice. For some, this role might have felt quite distant. But here at Lincoln, we’re thrilled to share how things have changed. In 2003, the shift from "guidance counselors" to school counselors marked an exciting evolution in how we support students, and today, school counselors are an integral part of both your student’s journey and our school community.
Our school counselors are here to champion your child’s success. From fostering academic achievement and supporting social/emotional growth to preparing your student for college and career readiness, they are actively involved in every step of the process. This isn’t just about advice; it’s about building relationships, addressing challenges, and creating opportunities tailored to your child's unique needs.
We’re proud of the role our school counselors play at Lincoln and excited to partner with you to ensure your child thrives both inside and outside the classroom. Together, we’re shaping a brighter future for your student.
