Get to Know Your Teacher

Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Ms. Whitesel, and I will be your 6th grade teacher. I'm excited to start our new school year together! It is going to be a very different year but we will work together to make it great. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and helping you learn and grow.

My teaching qualifications include a Bachelors degree in English from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Education from Chestnut Hill College. This is my 7th year teaching in the School District of Philadelphia and my 6th year at Potter-Thomas.
