Dr Mangum’s updates:
New Math teacher has been hired for 2026-2027. She is a certified teacher who has been teaching in Delaware and is relocating to Philadelphia for husband’s education at WTS
PMCA will end the budget year in the black
Continue to encourage EITC
Tuition increase, some teachers have been given a salary increase
FFPM Business:
1. Skating party:
- Check and cash box: Maja Lisa
- Money collector: Ahmara, Maja Lisa, Sharon, Heather
- Kara confirmed that there will be a cash box
- Maja Lisa will bring deposit for next year and watch email to electronically sign and send back the agreement.
2. Summer playdate popup
- Regular weekly play club
o Led by Lyana and Estefani together
o Communication via Group Me thread, advertised by a flyer
o Different location each week
o Goal: Minimal adult supervision, no screens
o New PMCA families welcome, and friends of PMCA families also welcome
o Estafani will send flyer and announcement to Jodi by Monday
3. Mom’s night out fundraiser
- Raised $480
- Big thanks any gratitude to Cheryl Crow for all her work planning and finishing off the crafts – having donated her time
4. T-shirts
- Heather has the leftover inventory from 2025
- Heather will follow up with Cindy about leftover inventory for 2026
- Request different white shirts in future – t-shirts were see through
- Ask for financial information – how much did sales of shirts raise?
- BRACELETS: Did we get the extra bracelets back? Ahmara will track down.
First meeting 2026-2025 school year will be with pizza to welcome new parents and introduce to the organization
