Welcome back families, staff, and students! The PTA is already in full swing planning events for this school year. We are so excited to have new local fundraisers and returning favorites this year. Holiday Shopping and Scholastic Book Fairs are also already in the works.

The PTA is opening a school Spirit Store this year!! It will be open on the first Friday of every month, 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., in Room 101. Opening day is Oct 5 at 7:45 a.m. You can stop in and shop our spirit gear including cinch bags, uniform polos and jackets, and much more. We are also looking for the next item to add to our spirit store, if you have an idea please let us know!!

Our first public PTA meeting was held on Sept 19. New member sign-up, budget, Standing Rules and By-Laws were just a few items discussed. To see full meeting minutes, please go to the school PTA webpage. Our next public meeting will be held on Nov 14, 6 p.m. in Room 101. We hope to see you there!

PTA Membership sign-up is going on now. Dues for one year are $7 per person. Membership has its privileges, please see link for full list!

Our first Scholastic Book Fair of the year will be Oct 22 thru 25 in Room 101. Students will get to pick out their favorite books for purchase. Books are arranged by reading level to help direct to age appropriate reading. Every dollar spent earns "Scholastic dollars" which go directly back into the school classrooms and in the hands of our students! Flyers will be sent home and there will also be a viewing time for students to look around prior to day of shopping.

On Saturday, September 22, we celebrated our BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT, ANNUAL WALK-A-THON, AND WELLNESS FAIR. Open to staff, students, parents, and families of the PHCSE community benefiting the Olweus Anti-Bullying Program, PBIS, House System, Wellness, and PTA. Students, Families, and Staff walked for a great cause and connected with families by inviting their own to share with the community. The Wellness fair provided families and staff members with professional services through area businesses.
