PHCCLA is pleased to provide materials to allow for a correspondence class in leu of attending a live class. A correspondence class is a course in which you complete the course at home, receiving your work by mail or email, and submitting your chapter tests and credit claim form back to PHCCLA, by mail or on our website.
How do I register for the Correspondence Course?
PHCCLA will accept registration for these courses from April 1 - November 15, 2026. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER NOVEMBER 15TH.
How will I receive CE materials?
You will be able to select the registration for either digital materials or physical materials (includes a $10 shipping and handling fee). Digital materials will be emailed to you within 5 business days of receiving your registration. Physical materials will be mailed via USPS mail within 5 business days of receiving your registration.
How do I get credit for the class?
With your textbook, you will receive a credit report form, evaluation, and multiple-choice scoresheet for each required module. All items indicated within your materials must be completed and returned to PHCCLA by the cumulative deadline. You will be able to submit by mail or through the association website regardless of how you received your materials.
All forms and quizzes must be completed to receive credit - please make sure you are reading your instructions carefully to ensure you are completing all requirements.
You must receive a 70% passing grade on your tests to receive credit. If you receive a grade lower than 70%, you will have an opportunity to re-take your tests for a fee of $25.
How long do I have to complete the CE materials?
You will have 30 days from the date of emailing or shipping your materials to return your completed materials. NO MATERIAL WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER DECEMBER 15, 2026. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Any submissions received after December 15th will be assessed a $100 late fee (payment must be received to submit to the SPBLA)
How will my participation be reported to SPBLA?
PHCCLA will report passing participation on the 10th of each month, April-December.
