Course Description

Service Learning / Field Experience:  Provides opportunities for practical experience through observation and supervised participation and assessment in a school-age setting.   Students will:  identify and observe in the classroom various elements of diversity that affect K-12 student learning and accomplishment; identify and observe in the classroom the cultural, family, and environmental factors that affect students in schools; reflect on the experience in relation to personal skills, dispositions, and future professional decisions.
