Week of September 22ndStudents will be finishing up their football activities of throwing and catching. We will also be practicing those skills with frisbees possible outside.We completed our nutrition unit and will be focusing on personal hygiene beginning this week.
Week of the 15thStudents will continue working on their football skills of throwing and passing. They will also use strategies of how to score against the other team.We should be wrapping up our nutrition unit in Health.
Week of September 8thStudents will continue working on the skills of throwing and catching the football. We have a few games planned that will practice these skills as well as defensive skills, strategic play, and teamwork. We will continue to work in our nutrition unit emphasis on where food comes from and how it can help our body.
Week of September 2ndStudents will be working on their football skills of passing with a partner. They will also be learning how to catch the football. Once we have some of these basic skills we will try for a trash can football toss game. We will continue in our nutrition unit and health.
*WEEK OF AUGUST 24THSTUDENTS WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON THEIR BASKETBALL SKILLS. WE WILL BE LEARNING SOME PLAYS AND HOPING TO HAVE A AN ACTUAL GAME OF BASKETBALL BY THURSDAY. WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON OUR DRIBBLING AND SHOOTING SKILLS.WE WILL CONTINUE IN OUR NUTRITION UNIT LEARNING MORE ABOUT SERVING SIZE AND PORTION CONTROL AND FINDING FOOD THAT FUELS OUR BODY. WE WILL CONTINUE THE DISCUSSION OF TAKING SHOWERS, WEARING DEORDORANT, BRUSHING OUR TEETH, AND TAKING CARE OF OUR PERSONAL HEALTH.
*WEEK OF AUGUST 18THSTUDENTS WILL BE LEARNING HOW TO DRIBBLE, PASS, AND PLAY SOME EASY TO LEARN GAMES WITH BASKETBALL.The importance of taking care of our health. Taking showers, brushing teeth, washing clothes, and wearing deodorant.
