1. Chico/Chica Ideal Project- due APRIL 13th (submit via Google Classroom), presentations will be done via FlipGrid and are due APRIL 15th. We will be sharing our projects electronically via FlipGrid. If you can’t access FlipGrid because you don’t have access, please send me a video via email. You may also need to use ScreenCastify to be able to present your Piktochart poster while presenting.
To use Screencastify, students will need to use Google Chrome. Click on the Screencastify icon and then decide if you want to record your browser, desktop or just webcam- and press record!
To share Screencastify projects in Flipgrid, students will choose to import a video rather than recording a video. The process for accessing the Grid is the same, but instead of clicking on the record button, students select the three dots next to the camera and then “Add Video Clip.” They then select their Screencastify video from their camera roll and import their video into Flipgrid.
Please feel free to work ahead- all I care is that the assignments are completed by the due date.

1. Voces Unidad 5 Activities as assigned
Remember this is new for all of use so please be patient and let me know if there are any issues. The due date will not lock you out of the activities, so if you can’t meet the deadline please let me know so I don’t deduct points for your work being late.

Enter your User ID: use your first initial and last name (example: hlamaster)

If you do not have internet access- please complete the assignments in your textbook for Chapter 5 p.204-213 and submit them via an email.
Due May 11th
1. Cinco de Mayo Color by Numbers- Cinco de Mayo Coloring Sheet- you can complete this either electronically, using Kami, or you can complete it paper/pencil and send me a picture for a grade.
2. Introducciones- Introduce your pet, sibling or any other person living with you. Record a Flipgrid video of you speaking in Spanish about your pet/person. You will primarily be using the present tense, but may occasionally need to use the preterite or imperfect. Your video must be between 30 and 90 seconds. If you record and do not get at least 30 seconds you will need to add more.
3. ¿Qué hiciste ayer o esta mañana? Record a Flipgrid video on your own speaking in Spanish about what you did yesterday or so far today. You will be using the preterite tense. Practice what you plan to say in advance so that when you record you sound authentic and not scripted. Your video must be between 45 and 90 seconds. If you record and do not get at least 45 seconds you will need to add more.

1. El Sol- Two different worksheets pertaining to your abril/mayo edition of your El Sol. Both require you to write a short essay IN SPANISH.
