Class overview
Each PLTW Engineering course engages students in interdisciplinary activities like working with a client to design a game board, programming electronic devices or robotic arms, or exploring algae as a biofuel source. These activities build knowledge and skills in engineering, and empower students to develop essential skills such as problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance.
Hello! I am the PLTW Engineering instructor at the CCTI, and I have been teaching for 21 years. I am passionate about learning and love sharing that passion with my students as we explore the exciting world of engineering. My goal is to inspire students to think creatively, solve problems, embrace challenges, and develop the skills and confidence to become future engineers. I look forward to helping them discover their potential and watching them grow throughout their engineering journey!
A Little About My Life Outside the Classroom
When I’m not teaching, I love to travel, relax on the beach, and enjoy the magic of Disney World! Most importantly, I cherish spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren, who bring so much joy to my life. ❤️
