Work: 2 years as a Children's Therapist/Outreach Specialist, 7 years as a 6th grade Math Teacher, 8 years as an Elementary School Counselor. This is my second year as an academy counselor.
Family: Happily married with 2 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit and 1 lizard.
Mission/Vision
My goal as a school counselor is to support our school and district mission of providing meaningful opportunities for the learners of today to become the leaders of tomorrow. I provide character education lessons that promote academic achievement, career exploration, and social-emotional learning. I also support students through individual and small-group counseling that focuses on social skills, study skills, coping skills, and problem-solving skills.
