Class Projects

Reading Projects:

Students are expected to do a Book Report each nine weeks. All book reports must be approved by Mrs. Lewis before starting on their projects. Students must also pass an AR test on the book of their choice with a grade of 80% or higher.

1. 1st nine weeks Fiction: dress your pumpkin up like the character in your book.

2. 2nd nine weeks Nonfiction: Biography-Students will select a person and dress up like that them (QR-Code Project).

3. 3rd nine weeks Fiction or Nonfiction - State Report

4. 4th nine weeks Book Parade - Students may pick a book of their choice (fiction or nonfiction).

• Details will be sent home at a later date.

Science:

• Project 1: All students will complete a science method project.
• Project 2: All students will complete a science museum project.
• Details will be sent home at a later date.

Virginia Studies:

• Regions of Virginia: Details will be sent home at a later date.
• Report: Details will be sent home at a later date.
