Something Told the Wild Geese
Something told the wild geese
It was time to go,
Though the fields lay golden
Something whispered, "snow."
Leaves were green and stirring,
Berries, luster-glossed,
But beneath warm feathers
Something cautioned, "frost."
All the sagging orchards
Steamed with amber spice,
But each wild breast stiffened
At remembered ice.
Something told the wild geese
It was time to fly,
Summer sun was on their wings,
Winter in their cry.
Choreographer's Notes: This dance embodies the powerful, organic response to a changing world. It explores the moment the wild geese hear the call of the south, translating the sudden urgency of migration and the absolute need for them to leave their home as winter comes.

Sister's Letter
My dear sister,
If you’re reading this, there are things I didn’t know how to say out loud — but I never want it left unspoken how deeply I loved dancing through life with you.
We learned to breathe together, to trust each other’s weight, to fall and rise as one. No matter how far life pulled us, you were always the place I returned to — the one who steadied me when I lost my balance.
I’m sorry for the moments I drifted, when my pain grew louder than my presence. Please know it was never a lack of love. You were my constant. You still are.
Stay close to family. Let people love you. When the room feels different — when the holidays come — sit with them anyway. Let those moments remind you how precious time is, and how important it is to hold each other while you can.
If you feel the spaces where I’m missing, hold onto what made us us. Let those memories carry you forward.
This isn’t an ending. Just a change in how we find each other.
I’ll be with you in the quiet moments.
Always.
Siempre.
