CONCERT INFORMATION:
Our Winter Concert will be on January 15, 2026, in the Tulip Grove ES cafeteria.
The Concert will start at 6:30pm. Students should arrive before 6:15 to get set up.
The Concert should last about one hour, please plan to stay for the entire concert.
The concert order will be Orchestra, then Band, then Chorus. (Students who are in both instrumental and chorus will perform with both groups during this concert. Chorus will perform after instrumental groups are finished).
A responsible adult must accompany every student for the whole evening.
Students should dress in nice clothing. There is no specific uniform, but students should dress as formally as possible. (Please check to make sure you can still play your instrument in your dress clothes!)
There is a possibility that we will perform a morning concert for students in the school, we have not confirmed this yet. If we do, students will need instruments during school on January 15th, but do not need to dress in a concert uniform. Again, this morning concert is not confirmed, we will announce this closer to the date.
SNOW DATE: We have scheduled Thursday, January 22nd as our make-up date in the (hopefully unlikely) event that the January 15th concert is cancelled due to bad weather. Hopefully this will not be necessary, but please try to keep this date open if possible. If it is not possible, please contact Mr. FitzGerald if we do have to reschedule the concert and you cannot make it.

Class Policy on Delayed Openings
In case of delayed openings (due to weather or other emergencies) all instrumental classes will be cancelled for that day. (Rescheduling classes on days like that is often not possible). In some cases, Mr. FitzGerald may announce that classes will take place even if there is a delayed opening, but that announcement will be made the day before a potential delay. Generally delayed openings of school will mean no instrumental classes.
