TGES Instrumental Music Schedule,
October & November 2026:
Students will need to bring instruments to school on the following days:
Tuesday, October 20th All Winds & Percussion
Wednesday, October 21st All Strings & Red Group
Friday, October 23rd All Groups except Red & Gold
Tuesday, October 27th All Beginning Winds & Percussion
Wednesday, October 28th All Strings & Red Group
Wednesday, November 4th All Wind & Percussion Groups only (this is a change to an earlier schedule)
Friday, November 6th All String Groups only (this is a change to an earlier schedule)
Tuesday, November 10th All Strings & Red Group
Friday, November 13th All Beginning Winds & Percussion
Tuesday, November 17th All Winds & Percussion, & Gold Group
Wednesday, November 18th All Strings & Red Group
Friday, November 20th All Groups except Red & Gold
Tuesday, November 24th All Groups
A new schedule for the rest of November and December will be announced in mid-November.

Concerts
Please mark your calendars:
We will have two concerts during the school year. Our winter concert will be Thursday, January 14, 2027 & our Spring Concert will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2027. Both concerts will be at 6:30pm in the Tulip Grove ES cafeteria. More information will be sent out as we get closer to the concert date.

Group names:
The following group names will appear on the daily schedules posted in the school building. Students should bring instruments on the days listed above for their groups, then check the daily schedule to see what time to come to class during the day.
Red Group = Second year Advanced Band (students who are playing the same instrument this year that they played in band last year)
Gold Group = Second year Advanced Strings (students who are playing the same instrument this year that they played in band last year)
Beginning Winds (woodwinds & brass)
Green Group = Beginning Clarinets and Bass Clarinets
Orange Group = Beginning Saxophones
Yellow Group = Beginning Trumpets
Maroon Group = Beginning Trombones
Blue Group = Beginning Baritones and Tubas
Gray Group = Beginning Percussion
Beginning Strings (Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Basses)
Silver Group = 4th Grade Beginning Violins & Violas (with last name A-C)
Bronze Group = 4th Grade Beginning Violins & Violas (with last name F-M)
Tan Group = 4th Grade Beginning Violins & Violas (with last name P-Z), plus all Beginning Cellos & Basses.
Beige Group = 5th Grade Beginning Strings
