Speech to Text using Google Docs directions:

1. Open a document in Google docs with a Chrome browser.
2. Make sure that your microphone is on ( not muted )
3. Click Tools > Voice typing. A microphone box appears.
4. When you're ready to speak, click the microphone.
5. The microphone icon turns red. It is now recording you.
6. Speak clearly, at a normal volume and pace
7. When you're done, click the microphone to stop.

Adding and Using Text to Speech for Google Chrome:

• Select add to chrome in the upper right corner
• It will add the extension to your address bar
• Click on the puzzle piece and a menu will appear
• Click the play to play the entire page or highlight the text you want to be read to you and then click the play button
