ANNOUNCEMENT FROM February 14th, 2019

The students in the TAG Center Program who met the criteria were offered a spot via a packet today. 53 of our 79 TAG Program students qualified!

These packets went home today.

Important Information:

The International Baccalaureate Specialty School Program will be listed first and then the Neighborhood Boundary School will be listed second.

Both of these schools are based off of the address information listed in SchoolMax.

#1 Please complete the ACCEPT/DECLINE RESPONSE FORM by February 28th, 2019. Families may choose to mail or fax the response. It is recommended that you return the response form to the TAG Coordinator, Amanda Meyer, so she can also keep records in order to support your response decision.

#2 All students who are ACCEPTING the IB Program Spot NEED to register at Accokeek Academy with Mrs. Smith. This process is a part of transitioning to High School and you will need to complete a new Student Registration Form and update your proof of residency by March 14th, 2019.

TAG Center Lottery Students who met the criteria for enrollment in the Specialty Program of International Baccalaureate (IB) will recieved their letters to ACCEPT/DECLINE a Continuity Placement on

The TAG Coordinator and Guidance Counselor will visit the TAG Center Classrooms and explained the letters, the process for accepting, and the deadlines.

In order to accept the seat for the IB Program in High School students must return their forms by and register at their current school with a Parent/Guardian signing a new Students Registration Form along with bringing in proof of residency.

As a reminder, if you received the International Baccalaureate Continuity Placement Offer you will need to accept the offer by returning the Accept/Decline form before the determined deadline. The second step to the process of accepting your seat at the IB Program you are zoned for is registering at Accokeek Academy before the set deadline. You will need to bring in proof of residency and a parent/guardian will need to complete the Student Registration Form.
