Welcome to my site. I have been an Instructional Technology Specialist in Prince George's County Public Schools for 15 years and an Adjunct Professor at Bowie State University for 12 years. I am an experienced science educator, having taught Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at the secondary level for 10 years. I have also been a school administrator. I have served as the STEM coordinator for Prince George's County Public Schools and have led this initiative at the state level, as the county coordinator for the
Maryland MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement) Program. I have enjoyed helping teachers and schools develop and compete in Engineering based projects for statewide competitions. I have conducted workshops for teachers using SCRATCH, ALICE, and Python. My passion is professional development and coaching of educators, helping them to reach their greatest potential in the classroom using many areas of technology. Just as I focused on student success as a classroom teacher, I now bring that energy and desire to the adult educators I work with on a daily basis. I love being able to share in workshops, and at national, regional, and local conferences. It is great when your passion is your job.
