The Prince George's County Public Schools' National Board Certified Teacher Program is designed to support teacher candidates within Prince George's county in order to achieve National Board Certification in various certification areas. Potential NBCT Candidates are asked to apply on a yearly basis through the PGCPS NBCT program for the scholarship. (Registration to National Board is done directly to National Board.)
Applicants apply to PGCPS-NBCT for a candidate fee scholarship for the completion and submission of the four components that make up the whole NBPTS process. Be on the lookout for the Scholarship Application announcements which usually occur in the final months of the school year.
