Ms. Melchoir received her B.S. in Biology from the University of the District of Columbia and a MBA with a concentration in Health Services Administration from Howard University. She earned a Graduate Certificate in Health Information Technology from George Washington University. She held various positions in healthcare administration prior to PGCPS.
She completed the PGCPS Resident Teacher Program in 2019 and has served as an 8th Grade Team Lead, Science Bowl/Olympiad Coach, and Green Team Club Teacher. She participated in the 2022-23 Cohort of the B’More Secure GenCyber Professional Learning Program at Towson University. Ms. Melchoir is the Chapter Leader for the Youth Climate Institute, an after school program designed to equip students with the tools and skills necessary to become climate change champions. This is her 4th year at the Online Campus.
She loves spending time with friends and family. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, watching sports, playing chess, and reading.
