Important Information about Performances/Events
VPA Dance Majors and Comprehensive Dance students complete a Performance Assessment each semester with the Winter and Spring Dance Concert & VPA Student Choreography Showcase.
VPA Dance Majors receive National Honor Society Points for every performance and event (punctuality (being on time), participation, conduct, and performance are taken into consideration when points are given). Students can complete community service hours for any fundraising and all multi-disciplinary (non-performance) VPA events.
Remember all VPA Dance Majors must have a 2.5 GPA and good attendance (in all classes) in order to perform in ANY performance. Otherwise, they will receive another required duty to complete at the performance or event for the completion of their assessment grade.
