Ninth Grade Academy

Class of 2027!    We're happy to have you. 

The Ninth Grade Academy was put into place to ease the transition from middle school into high school and stem what is being called "The 9th Grade Shock." This is a decline in academic performance upon entering high school. The Ninth Grade Academy is based on a middle school model where the students are in smaller cohorts than the rest of the student body and the teachers meet weekly to discuss and support their progress. Extra supports are in place to provide assistance for students who need it. Our goal is to have our scholars Finish in Four! Together, we can do just that.
