I. Student's Assignments/Rights and Responsibilities in Virtual Learning Environment.

Assignments :

  • Students are expected to complete the assignments and turn them in upon their completion. If the assignment is late with an acceptable excused note from their parent/guardian; then the student is entitled to receive full - credit for the assignment. However, if you don't turn in an excusable note; then you will receive 50% credit. You have two weeks from the date you return to submit the makeup work to be graded.

  • Students must inform the Instructor via email, that the makeup has been completed and it is ready to grade.

  • While in the Virtual Distance Learning Environment; students are still expected to raise their hand if they have a question.

Student Behavior and Classroom Culture

  • Students are expected to be respectable and mature when attending Virtual Classes

  • They are not required to show their faces on screen; however, they are encourage to do so when they have a question or have been called on by their Instructor.

  • Students are not supposed to have offensive material displayed in their background while on camera

  • Students are to follow the dress code that is related to school dress.

  • Students are ask not to have family members on camera to speak to Instructors while the class is Live.

Attendance:

  • Students are required to attend their Virtual Classroom just as a regular class

  • You can not simply just get your assignments and turn them end once they are completed

  • If you are absent and the excuse is UNACCEPTABLE, then yo will not receive credit for the assignments that you missed.

  • Excessive tardies and absences will place you in jeopardy of not passing.

  • More than 5 unexcused absences per semester will result in a failing grade.
