Our mission is to make the library a safe, nurturing environment for our students, teachers, and staff as we promote the unparalleled importance of reading and lifelong learning.

Vision Statement

The MLK Jr., Middle School Library aims to prepare students with the support skills needed for academic success in middle school, high school, college, and beyond, thus empowering them to become productive members of a 21st century global society.  Our vision is to empower students to become ethical users, critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, and skillful researchers. We will ensure equality and freedom to access all information for our diverse population.
