SALVATION ARMY:
The Salvation Army’s Emergency Assistance (EMAST) Program helps individuals and families in crisis.
Emergency financial and food assistance is available at Corps Community Centers located throughout the Greater Washington DC region. A team of social service coordinators, located in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, offer case management and solutions to help families in need stabilize their situation. This helps to keep a roof over their heads and the utilities on.

Meals on Wheels is available throughout Baltimore City as well as Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, and select areas of Prince George’s counties.

Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/ Prince George’s County, Inc. is a volunteer-based organization that partners with the juvenile court to improve the lives of children living in foster care who have suffered from abuse and neglect. With a strong commitment to diversity, CASA/ Prince George’s County trains and supervises volunteers from the community who advocate for the best interest of children, recognizing and respecting each child’s individual needs.
The Family Justice Center is a multi-agency intervention collaboration that includes a multi-disciplinary team of professionals working together under one roof to provide coordinated services to victims (survivors) of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse. The Family Justice Center provides immediate, short term, and long term solutions through a “one-stop-shop” process.
