HOW TO CREATE YOUR LIBRARY CARD ACCOUNT IN 4 SIMPLE STEPS

STEP-BY-STEP

  1. Visit the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System website or downloading the PGCMLS app.

  2. To sign-in, students must create an account using their 9-digit student identification number.

  3. To create your USER ID type the letters PGCPS the type your STUDENT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER [9 digits].

Example USER ID: PGCPS100100100

  1. Next, create your PIN NUMBER. The PIN NUMBER must be the LAST FOUR DIGITS of your Student Identification Number.

Example PIN: 0100

USE YOUR LIBRARY CARD NUMBER and PIN to DOWNLOAD books and resources ONLINE and IN PERSON at ANY Prince George's County Public Library!

+ Students use student identification number to check out library books from the Prince George's County Memorial Library System [PGCMLS].

+ Student Library cards are known as "LINK Card". The LINK card is available to all PGCPS students with a student identification number.

+ An application is not required and late fees are not accrued with the LINK account.

+ Students can borrow up to three library materials at a time.
