ABOUT
The Parent Resource Center at Hollywood Elementary School is a resource and information center for families. The purpose of the Parent Resource Center is to provide a space for families to obtain information on school and community resources, as well as parenting. Computers are also available for parents to use to receive technology assistance, practice English using Rosetta Stone, complete job and school-related applications, etc.

Rosetta Stone for Parents
Parents may recieve a Rosetta Stone license to use at home! As a requirement, participating parents must come in-person to the Parent Resource Center to practice during the times below. Licenses are limited.

Technology Assistance Drop-In Hours
Need assistance getting access to or using ClassDojo, SchoolMax, Google Classroom, or another school platform? Ms. Campos and Mrs. Caballero will hold Technology Assistance Drop-In Hours throughout the year to provide one-on-one support. No prior appointment necessary.

Partnership with Living Water Adventist Church
In partnership with the Living Water Adventist Church, Hollywood Elementary School has begun to provide evening English and computer literacy classes for parents! English classes are for beginners who want to learn basic English skills. The computer literacy classes will cover basic skills with the goal of helping parents be able to better use school technology platforms, such as ClassDojo, SchoolMax, and Google Classroom, to be involved with their student's learning.
Registration for Fall 2021 English and computer literacy classes is closed. Please check back to register for the Spring. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the church at (301)- 541-8363.
Lending Library
Thanks to donations from community members, a small Lending Library containing parenting books is available in the Parent Resource Center. In order to check out a book, simply fill out the sign-out sheet. We kindly ask that you return the book within a month.
