ASVAB Testing

For the 2025/2026 school year, setting goals and achieving them is part of the game plan for reaching the success that follows your high school career. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test is a great tool for aiding you in making informed career decisions. The scores are for entry requirements into all branches of the armed services as well as exploring other career options. After testing, the ASVAB career exploration program (CEP) is an AWESOME tool for understanding your career interests.

This website, https://www.asvabprogram.com/ will be that tool to help you. If you are interested in testing, please complete the attached form and load Tuesday, January 6, 2026 on your calendar for the testing date. The test will be computer based, so you MUST bring a charged up chrome book. The form also has three practice test links, so use them to aid you in your preparation.

University of Maryland LIFT Academy Mailing List

Hello!

My name is Mateo Stamper and I am the Coordinator for the LIFT Academy under the University of Maryland Pre-College Programs. Pre-College Programs is an organization that prepares high school students from Montgomery and Prince George's counties to be successful in their post-secondary school plans. The LIFT Academy carries out this mission by providing resources such as AP/SAT prep courses, college bus tours, and tutoring all at a low cost.

As you know summer is just right around the corner! This means the LIFT Academy is kicking into high gear with our summer programming and preparing our 2025-2026 Academic year programing! Just in the next three months, we have 3 SAT prep courses, college readiness fairs, and so much more planned for our students.

Unfortunately during the summer time, the communication lines become more difficult, as school is out of session. If you are interested in learning more about the LIFT Academy programming, we asked that you fill out this form so that we can add you our mailing list, so you don't miss out on any new program announcements!
