Who can apply
All interested 8th-grade PGCPS students will be considered for admission into the AEAT Program. PGCPS 9th grade students interested must apply to be considered for any openings in their current class. Nonpublic school students in 8th and 9th grade interested in the Science and Technology Program must apply. Please visit www.pgcps.org/testing and click on Specialty Programs to obtain additional information.

ALL PGCPS 8TH GRADE STUDENTS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CONSIDERED FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE PGCPS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY & AEAT PROGRAM!
APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PRIVATE SCHOOL, HOME SCHOOL, AND PGCPS 9TH GRADE STUDENTS!

2800 = 1400 + GPA (360)
Total Score = 50% PSAT 8/9 + Content GPA (math, Science, SS, RELA)
GPA =Average of All four quarters of grade 7 and the first quarter of grade 8
Example
PSAT 8/9 540 in RELA and 430 in Math
GPA 3.5
PSAT 8/9 Score= 540 +430= 970
GPA Score = 3.5 (350)= 1225
TS = 970 + 1225 = 2195
