Proud Assistant Principal of the Distinguished Class of 2025

Greetings Parents/Guardians and the Scholars of the Class of 2025,

I hope this message finds you well.  Parents, Scholars, We did it!!!   Scholars, well done on completing your sophomore year and moving one step closer to graduation.  This year you will enter Charles Herbert Flowers as Distinguished Junior's!  Now you must take all that you have learned and endured over these past two years and use it as motivation to ensure that you secure your ticket to graduation.

Scholars this year I would like for you to focus on “Finding Your Purpose”.  A person once said, “you must go through stuff to gain the wisdom to be able to move forward.

Scholars, as we continue through this journey together, I need you to make sure that you do not allow anything or anyone to deter you from your goals!  Stay focused on your race and continue to strive towards excellence.  Take ownership of your own learning and stand firm on your own two feet knowing that you have the confidence, the ability and skills to demand a seat at the table.

As you know, each year I provide you all with a word that I foresee to be a focal point for our cohort.  Your freshman year word was Self-Advocacy. Your sophomore year word was Adaptability.  Your word for your junior year is Reflection.

Reflection - The process of self-examination and self-evaluation”

Scholars, reflection is the first step in the process of understanding who you are as an individual and it will help guide you in finding your purpose.  Scholars when you master the art of reflection, it will afford you the opportunity to see things rationally in order to make sound decisions within your life.

Class of 2025, please know that my commitment to see you across the stage with your diploma from The Charles Herbert Flowers High School in May of 2025 is stronger than ever. I will continue to advocate for you, fight for you and guide you through this journey.

Welcome back scholars!  Let’s continue to run this race together and support one another along the way.

Sincerely,

Brandon Jackson
