In order to earn a Maryland High School Diploma, the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requires that students earn twenty-two (22) credits through coursework, twenty-four (24) student learning service hours, AND mandates qualifying scores on state exams (HSA/MISA/MCAP).
