MESSAGE FROM DR. BELL

Welcome back! I hope your summer was filled with opportunities to relax, recharge, make wonderful memories, and enjoy time together as a family. We are thrilled to welcome our youngest Eagles back for the 2026–2027 school year and begin another exciting year of learning, growing, and achieving excellence!

The early elementary years are where so much begins. In Kindergarten through second grade, our students are developing the academic skills, confidence, curiosity, independence, and love of learning that will carry them throughout their educational journey.

This year, our K–2 Team is committed to building strong foundations and fueling bright futures. We will challenge our students to think, explore, ask questions, persevere, and discover just how much they are capable of achieving.

Starting the Year Strong

As we transition back into our school routines, families can help our Little Learners get off to a great start by:

Reading Together: Spend 15–20 minutes each evening reading with or to your child. Talk about characters, make predictions, and ask questions about what you read.
Building Healthy Routines: Consistent bedtimes and morning routines help children arrive at school rested, prepared, and ready to learn.
Encouraging Independence: Give your child opportunities to pack and carry their backpack, organize belongings, and complete age-appropriate tasks independently.
Talking About School: Ask more than “How was your day?” Try questions such as “What made you think today?” “What did you learn that you didn't know before?” or “What are you proud of today?”
Celebrating Effort and Growth: Remind your child that learning takes practice. Mistakes are opportunities to learn, grow, and try again!

Our Partnership Matters

Families are an essential part of our team. When school and home work together, our students benefit. We encourage you to stay connected, communicate with your child's teacher, celebrate progress, and partner with us when challenges arise.

Our goal is not simply for our Little Learners to have a successful school year. We want them to develop the skills and confidence to dream big, embrace challenges, and soar!
