• Partner Stroke Play Format - 13u & 17u

  • The 8-player-team is broken into 4 twosomes

  • Each twosome plays nine holes and posts a team score

  • Three of the four best scores per 8-player-team make up your team score

    • Ex: For the Wisconsin PGA All Star Team, Players 1 and 2 shoot 36, Players 3 and 4 shoot 40, Players 5 and 6 shoot 40 and Players 7 and 8 shoot 50. Team Wisconsin PGA records a total of 36+40+40= 116.

  • To break a tie, the fourth team score is counted. If a tie still exists, the aggregate team score starting on Hole 9 will be used, followed by Hole 8, etc. 

• 17u is the same format using 8 player teams broken into 4 twosomes with 3 of the 4 best team scores counting towards a team total. The tiebreaker procedure is the same for 13u and 17u.

Practice Facilities

Practice Facilites will open 1 hour prior to the shotgun start. Practice facility for University Ridge will be announced at a later date. 

Food and Beverage

Players are responsible for their own food and beverage costs for the duration of the event. No food is included. This decision was made in an effort to keep the golf event cost free thanks to PGA REACH Wisconsin and the WPGA Junior Foundation. 

Awards

There will be a brief recognition ceremony following the Qualifying Rounds immediately after play (players and families DO NOT have to stay after their round, that will be at the coaches discretion). Please note, no awards will be handed out at any of the qualifiers. An awards ceremony for both 17u and 13u will follow play at University Ridge, with awards for the top 2 teams in each age division.
