Position Description: Wildwood Country Club seeks a dynamic and experienced General Manager (GM) to lead all aspects of Club operations. The GM is responsible for maintaining and improving the member experience while ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and an engaged, service-focused team culture.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the GM will serve as the Club’s chief operating officer and will oversee all department heads. This leader must be hands-on, highly visible, and dedicated to fostering a culture of accountability, hospitality, and continuous improvement.
Provide strategic, visible leadership across all Club departments.
Ensure an exceptional member experience through high service standards and consistent operations.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of department heads.
Maintain accurate financial oversight, including budget development, forecasting, and reporting.
Embrace and leverage club management technologies to streamline operations and improve communication.
Oversee golf operations, food and beverage, events, racquet sports, aquatics, and maintenance.
Work collaboratively with the Board and Committees to implement long-range planning and policy direction.
Direct membership growth and retention efforts to ensure long-term sustainability.
Promote a positive workplace culture and uphold Club values.

Including, but not limited to, the following:
7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in private clubs, resorts, or hospitality.
Proven success in managing multi-faceted operations with attention to service excellence.
Tech-savvy with experience using club management software, point-of-sale systems, and data reporting tools.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, capital projects, and operational reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence.
Experience in food and beverage management and an understanding of member dining expectations.
A visible leader with a hands-on, approachable leadership style.
Experience working with a governance model that includes a Board of Directors and Committees.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
CMAA and/or PGA affiliation is a plus.
