ABOUT WEDGEWOOD GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Powell, OH | Wedgewood Golf & Country Club is amongst the finest private member-owned clubs in central Ohio. Wedgewood was imagined and organized to provide superior club facilities and services for our members. It is an occasional retreat and a place for forging friendships, enjoying family gatherings, and celebrating life's events. From formal elegance to informal old-fashioned fun, every day is exceptional.
Since 1991 Wedgewood has been considered to be one of the most challenging courses in Central Ohio. The immaculate golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, II who gave us an indelible golf experience when he envisioned the routing of Wedgewood's championship golf course. He stated that the course site is "in itself a thing of joy." His pallet was a unique rolling property - full of well-defined creeks, adjacent bluffs, and beautiful stands of mature trees that allowed him to route golf holes through various environments. Today, members and their guests enjoy an expertly prepared private golf course that is a timeless work of art. While nature gave us the beauty, Mr. Jones gave it the form that is both exciting to play and exhilarating to view.
Our 49,500 square-foot Georgian-style Clubhouse offers commanding views of both the ninth and eighteenth greens and is where you will find families enjoying all the benefits of a Wedgewood membership every single day. In our rich history, Wedgewood has never been more alive with a full calendar of member events; exciting new fitness, tennis, and swimming programs; and national recognition of our talented Golf Pros.
On August 1st, 2023, Wedgewood Golf and Country Club commenced its Golf Course Restoration Project. The project will be the largest investment since the Club's inception in 1991. The club has been planning, preparing, and working diligently for over 2 years on this historic project. The project includes new teeing surfaces, new bunkers, lake and creek bank repair, irrigation, drainage, and a reimagined driving range. The Restoration Project was led by the original Architect, Bruce Charlton, from RTJII. The much-anticipated reopening occurred in June of 2024. For a deeper look into our project, please watch here. It's an exciting time here at Wedgewood and we look forward to seeing you on the golf course soon.
We strive to be a direct extension of our members’ families and to exceed their expectations at every turn. To be a member of Wedgewood Golf & Country Club is to truly be part of our family.
