Title: Head Golf Professional
Reports to: Directly to the General Manager regarding operations, financial matters, and strategic planning
Supervises: All Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Shop Assistants, Outside Service staff, and Caddies, ensuring that all staff members uphold the club's high standards
Displays a charismatic personality and a strong leadership style when interacting with club members, their guests, and Wausau Country Club employees.
Manages all aspects of golf operations, including staff hiring, scheduling, training and development, merchandising of hard goods, budgeting, event marketing, and promotion.
Aligns with the vision and direction set by the General Manager.
Commitment to training and implementing best practices and service standards, ensuring top-quality operational standards across all business segments.
Regular visibility and inspection of all areas are necessary to ensure consistent daily service to members.
Interacts frequently with members, their guests, vendors, and employees and should exhibit a teaching and coaching leadership style when engaging with all Wausau Country Club staff.

A proven track record in managing operations that prioritize exceptional member service and exemplary "plus-one" service—beginning from the moment a member arrives at the club—is essential.
Organized and structured to implement clear goals and initiatives that align with the brand vision of being an unparalleled Club and Community. Strong attention to detail is vital in this role.
The club will provide compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Base Salary $80,000 to $90,000
Lesson Income $10,000 to $20,000
Total Compensation $90,000 to $110,000
Health Care, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, 401k, Meals, Club Privileges, PGA Dues
