Position Description:
The Director of Golf at TPC Treviso Bay is fully responsible for the Golf operations of the golf club. The Director of Golf should be an enthusiastic and credentialed leader with an optimistic outlook, a professional in nature with a high degree of integrity.
The Director of Golf oversees a fast-paced, high-volume energetic golf operation with 45,000 rounds of golf per year and eight hundred twenty-four memberships.
The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, from managing golf-related activities, merchandise, costs, and revenues to overseeing staff and maintaining the quality of the golf course experience.
The Director must be a personable and experienced golf professional with a strong record of leading successful, high-quality golf operations, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-energy environment that extends over a twelve-month period.

The entire golf operation at Treviso Bay, ensuring an exceptional experience for the members and guests.
A twenty-one-person staff of inside and outside professionals, including five PGA Professionals and an apprentice.
The development of staff members, creating in-depth capabilities for the Club while enriching the professional experience of our team members.
A 4-million dollar annual golf operations budget, a 7-million dollar annual golf club budget, and a 23-million dollar annual golf and master community budget.
The professional staff in the coordination of all technologies such as Chelsea, Golf Genius, GPS Visage, USGA Handicap, and Website.
A variety of over one hundred tournaments and events per year, including in-season weekly Ladies' Day and Men’s Day events.
Content and communications for the Golf Club including membership guide.
Oversee the entire golf operation and all aspects of the golf business, ensuring that high standards are met and that members with a range of demands and interests are satisfied.
Ability, knowledge, and experience to successfully lead and manage a high-volume, fast-paced golf operation in excess of 45,000 rounds per year.
Strong business acumen and financial skills. Successful oversight and development of the annual business plan including the operating budget. Monitors and reports on costs, revenues, and capital needs compared to budget and the previous year. Data analysis and the delivery of professional reporting, with proficiency in advanced computer skills, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
Serve as a role model for all golf professionals in attitude and expected standards, following the key core values of the golf club: respect, integrity, transparency, excellence, and stewardship. Demonstrate a high value for and will invest in staff and member relationships genuinely and meaningfully. Able to create, implement, and execute annual development plans for the Director of Instruction, Head Golf Professional, and Merchandise Manager
Successfully leads and grows dynamic club programs, including creative conception, building revenues, controlling costs, and meeting or exceeding planned and budgeted bottom-line goals and objectives. Merchandising and equipment sale planning and knowledge are expected.
Collaborate with the General Manager, Golf Board of Directors, and golf committees. Serve as a partner to the Director of Agronomy to ensure the golf course is in excellent condition and meets the PGA/TPC standards
Serve as an active participant at Board meetings, and support board committees, including Golf Services, Finance, Golf Course Maintenance, Governance, and Communications.
Ensure the development of quality and accessible golf instruction programs to meet the range of skills and needs of the diverse Treviso Bay community.
Ability to produce appropriate and effective communications through content delivery methods.
Uphold the reputation and operational success of TPC Treviso Bay, aiming to provide an enjoyable and high-standard golfing experience for all.
Network with professional organizations and other peers. Serve as the point of contact with FSGA, USGA, South Florida PGA/LPGA to advance membership opportunities, etc.
