Six 18-hole private championship Georgia golf courses are available for play to members of The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, each one designed by such masters as Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, Arthur Hills and Willard C. Byrd. The Landings are annual host to the Korn Ferry Tour Club Car Championship, among other GSGA Amateur State Championships and AJGA Invitationals.
Set against a stunning backdrop of stately hardwood forests, unspoiled saltwater marshes and pristine tidal creeks, all six golf courses near Savannah, Ga., are designated as “Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries” by Audubon International, offering challenging play for golfers of all skill levels – all within one cart ride away.

The Lead Assistant Golf Professional at The Landings is genuinely the “Ambassador of Golf” of the Club. He or she must embody the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and diplomacy and be a highly active, engaged, and visible presence with both members and staff. He or she will be "the leader" who takes ownership of the operation and be a highly visible and engaged senior manager. The ideal candidate is an open-minded, creative, and productive problem solver for the Club's golf operation and beyond. While building relationships with every constituency within the Club’s membership, the Golf Professional is someone who needs to have his or her finger on the pulse of all operations and an understanding of the wide spread member values that exist at our Club. The successful candidate will promote an exceptional golf experience and provide creative services and programs for all members and guests.
Define and implement a golf operation culture aligned to the Club’s membership, national presence, and brand.
Grow golf operation talent through a deliberate staff development program designed to enhance the team’s execution capability; and leadership skills commensurate with the delivery of relaxed high-touch hospitality.
Lead and develop a staff of approximately 12.
Deliver an exceptional Member and Guest experience through steady process improvement focused on exemplary service and relaxed high touch hospitality.
Manage daily play and group play activity.
Plan and execute an exceptional and active event and tournament program to include the Men, Women and Juniors.
PGA Class A member in good standing.
Experience of 2 – 4 years of verifiable, progressive leadership and golf management experience.
Team oriented.
Service commitment to members, guests, and fellow staff.
The Landings Golf & Athletic Club is committed to mentoring all staff with paid education and management development programs.
Work-Life balance is a premium at the Club with flexible work schedules and two days off per week, except for major event weeks.
Base range of $45,000-$60,000, plus commissions for retail and golf lessons / instruction.
