Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
General Purpose: The Club at Ravenna is in search of two (2) Assistant Golf Professionals to assist the Head Golf Professional in the daily management of a first-class traditional private golf club Golf Operations Department. This includes providing members and guests with unparalleled service, tracking play, assisting with all merchandising functions, tournament operations, teaching lessons, and any other services to ensure an exceptional golf experience
PGA Professionals with aspirations of leading their own teams/clubs in the future are strongly encouraged to apply.
Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests with an emphasis on an attention to detail.
Administer the tournament operations program using the Golf Genius software program and monitor seasonal assistant’s tournament operations responsibilities.
Merchandise apparel, equipment and accessories to create a positive shopping experience for members and guests through effective merchandising techniques.
Utilize the point-of-sale system for all merchandise transactions.
Assist with ordering merchandise and processing special orders.
Conduct individual private golf lessons to all membership segments.
Administer Junior Golf Program in cooperation with the Assistant Professionals and Head Golf Professional
Assist with Ladies Clinics and Playing Lessons.
Communicate effectively will all staff members and department heads.
Training and development of seasonal assistant professionals.
Assist in overseeing all areas of Outside Operations (staging area, cart barn, practice facilities etc.).
Play golf with members on a weekly basis, when the tournament calendar allows.
Assist Head Golf Professional with annual member golf trip planning.
Provide input and assist in budgeting process.
The selected candidates ideally shall be Class-A PGA Members in good standing, although Golf Professionals currently within the PGA Associate Program will be considered.

Compensation Breakdown:
Hourly Wage: $22.00-$25.00/hour DOE
Anticipated Annual Income: $45,760-$52,000
Projected Overtime: $31.00-$37.50/hour DOE
Anticipated Overtime Income: $1,240-$1,500

The Club at Ravenna's PGA Director of Golf and Club Operations, George Kahrhoff, is an award-winning 30+ year industry veteran. His resume includes positions at some of Colorado's finest clubs including Cherry Hills Country Club, Sonnenalp Golf Club, and the Country Club at Castle Pines. George was the recipient of the 2012 PGA of America National Merchandiser of the Year in the Private Club Category and has won multiple Colorado Section awards including the 2014 Charles "Vic" Kline Award for Board of Directors service, the 2005, & 2006 West Chapter Merchandiser of the Year, the 2006 & 2010 Colorado PGA Merchandiser of the Year and the 2007 West Chapter Golf Professional of the Year.
George is committed to the professional development of his team and helping those he works with advance their careers. His Alumni have gone on to lead and contribute to operations at Roaring Fork Golf Club, The Colorado PGA Section, PGA National Headquarters, The Field Club of Omaha, Powder Horn Golf Club, Nike Golf, Castle Pines Golf Club, Cherry Hills Country Club, Spanish Trail Golf Club, The Club at Cordillera, and Sonnenalp Golf Club.
