ABOUT THE CLUB AT HOKULI'A
Spanning three miles along the heart of the Kona Coast, the private community of Hokuli'a lies on a lush 1,300 acres, just minutes from the cozy town of Kailua-Kona. The sheltered climate provides gentle coastal breezes, ideal year-round conditions for outdoor living, golf and water pursuits.
Designed by the renowned DeReus Architects, the traditional Polynesian-style compound has luxury amenity offerings available to members and their guests, with every facility feature taking advantage of unparalleled commanding views of the Pacific Ocean – complete with world-famous Kona sunsets.
The Club at Hokuli'a is a spectacular Jack Nicklaus Signature, private golf course that is consistently ranked among the best golf courses in the state. Rising 400 feet from the shore, every hole is framed by dramatic ocean views, and kissed by cool ocean breezes, designed masterfully to take full advantage of the spectacular topography of Hokuli‘a. Fairways cascade up and down gentle slopes, weaving through preserved cultural sites with dramatic ocean views at nearly every tee box and green. Sheltered from the strong winds that affect golf on many other areas of the Big Island, the course enjoys gentle ocean breezes and year-round warm temperatures for ideal golf conditions in every season.
Our members enjoy the architecturally stunning men’s and women’s golf lounge, locker-room, and golf shop facility. In addition, members can workout at the Club’s ocean view exercise and fitness complex, which includes a 3-lane lap pool and 2 har-tru tennis courts. The spa & massage facility includes a restful open-air yoga studio for after-sport relaxation and rejuvenation. Surrounded by beautifully manicured tropically landscaped grounds, the facility also features an expansive event-lawn area with endless ocean views for every type of entertaining and special events.
