Situated amid 7,000 acres of stunning scenery, Streamsong’s three “Top 100” courses are in complete harmony with their natural surroundings, creating a one-of-a-kind golf experience through the unexpected central Florida topography defined by towering dunes, deep lakes and awe-inspiring landscapes. A quiet place, far from the concrete, crowds and chaos of the city, Streamsong is the only golf resort in the world where you’ll find legendary architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Tom Doak, and Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner designed courses in one location.
Revered by golfers as a bucket-list destination, Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue intertwine through some of the greatest elevation change in Florida. At Streamsong Black, in addition to the Australian sandbelt-inspired designed par-73 guests also enjoy The Gauntlet, a 1.2 acre putting course.
Streamsong is excited to present The Chain; the fourth course designed by Coore and Crenshaw, opening in fall of 2023. The 3,000 yard short course just steps from the Lodge sprawls over 19 holes and includes The Bucket, a 2.5 acre putting course consisting of 54 holes.
Streamsong Golf Resort is conveniently located within a short drive of both Tampa and Orlando. Guests staying at the 216 room Lodge will discover spacious and luxurious accommodations, outstanding cuisine and spirits at 9 restaurants and bars, a relaxing spa, sporting clay shooting and some of the best guided bass fishing in the world along with a golf experience that’s been described as once in a lifetime.
STREAMSONG BLUE
With its multiple elevation changes, fairways navigating wild grasses and deep-water ponds and huge bunkers that roll off towering sand dunes, Streamsong Blue seems designed by discovery rather than by intention. Created by Renaissance Golf Design’s renowned architect Tom Doak—who now boasts seven designs ranked among the top 100 in the world—Streamsong Blue has been equally well received. Streamsong Blue (along with Streamsong Red) features Mach 1 Bermuda greens and spectacular terrain, with rises and falls in elevation, and contours that undulate offering some of the most stimulating holes in golf.
STREAMSONG RED
Simply put, Streamsong Red is like nothing you’ve ever played. Designed by the legendary team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw–architects of eight designs in the Top 100 in the United States–Streamsong Red is an 18-hole masterpiece. Mach 1 greens and winding fairways meander through decades-old sand dunes, lakes and natural bunkers, Streamsong “is naturally conducive to uncovering great golf holes,” says Crenshaw, who himself is a two-time Masters champion. With its striking landforms, expansive lakes, rolling terrain and stretches of open savannah, Streamsong Red brings drama and strategy into play on each spectacular hole.
STREAMSONG BLACK
Streamsong Black, designed by acclaimed architects Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner is a dazzling Par-73 championship layout offering breathtaking views of the vast landscape, which includes flowing elevation, rolls, tumbles, and sand ridges akin to the Sand Belt region of Australia. Opened in 2017 as Golf Magazine's "Best New Course in America" the big and bold design includes some of the largest green complexes in the world. Streamsong Black features The Gauntlet, a 1.2 acre putting course and The Roundabout, a free-flowing short course and practice area which includes seven holes.
THE CHAIN
Opening fall of 2023, The Chain brings the world-renowned duo of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw back to Streamsong for their second act after designing the award winning Streamsong Red in 2012. The Chain moniker originates from decades old dragline chains used in the mining process on the land where Streamsong now sits that were found on site during the course routing.
The 19-hole short course brings a new concept to the golf offerings at Streamsong with options for six and 13-hole loops or a 19-hole round. Holes vary in length from 90 to over 270 yards and incorporate a mix of centuries old Oaks, mining cuts and views of Little Payne Creek to create an exhilarating experience. Match play is the preferred format as there is no suggested par and each hole will be devoid of tee markers. Players will instead be encouraged to tee off from a location of their choosing inside teeing areas designated by dragline chains marking the beginning and end of each teeing ground.
