Title: General Manager
Position Description: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager to lead Stoughton Country Club into its next chapter of excellence. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of Club operations, ensuring a high standard of service, enhancing member satisfaction, and driving strategic growth. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the private club industry, a passion for golf, and a proven track record in club management.
Provide strategic leadership and direction to all club departments
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Ensure adherence to club policies and standards
Enhance member satisfaction through exceptional service and innovative programs
Address member feedback and resolve issues promptly and effectively
Develop and manage the club’s budget
Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising quality
Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed
Oversee daily operations, including golf, food and beverage, events, and facilities management
Ensure the maintenance and presentation of the golf course and facilities meet the highest standards
Manage vendor relationships and contracts
Develop and implement membership growth strategies
Promote the club through effective marketing and community engagement
Plan and execute member events and activities to foster a vibrant club community
Including, but not limited to, the following:
Minimum of 5 years in club management, preferably including experience in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role
Private club leadership experience preferred
Strong background in food and beverage, golf operations, and a passion for the game
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and fiscal management
Ability to develop and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences
Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans
Innovative thinking to enhance club offerings and member engagement
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
PGA Membership and/or CMAA strongly preferred
The club will provide a compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and qualifications. This includes but is not limited to:
Compensation:
$85,000 - $90,000 base salary per year, depending on experience
Professional keeps 100% of revenue from lessons and clinics
Relocation reimbursement negotiable
Performance bonus potential
Total Compensation potential: $115,000+
