Menlo Park, CA
MENLO PARK, CA | Located in Menlo Park, CA, heart of the Silicon Valley, Sharon Heights is the premier Club between San Francisco and the Monterey Bay, with a presence throughout the country. Sharon Heights has been a vital part of Menlo Park's community for over 60 years. Our club continues to strive for sustainability and growth in community contribution. A majority of our members are highly involved in the Tech, Venture Capital and Financial Industries. In 2003, Sharon Heights did a complete Clubhouse remodel that was a huge success. Today, Sharon Heights offers 18 holes of golf designed by Jack Fleming, an Allister Mackenzie protégé, which is being redesigned by Todd Eckenrode currently, 5 hardcourt tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, 1 swimming pool, a gym, casual and upscale dining areas, on-course honor bar and a grand ballroom that can accommodate 300+ guests. The Club has a very active membership with sound governance practices that use active committees to generate current Board Members.
Sharon Heights completed a renovation to the pool area in the summer of 2016. The Club added a casual restaurant that has the ability to seat 96 members on the inside and another 120+ on the pool deck. Along with the new restaurant, a new fitness and group class studio were added along with two private massage rooms to continue to build the Fitness and Wellness area of the Club.
In 2020 the Club completed a water recycling plant in a Public/Private relationship with a sanitation district that ensures the protection of the golf course asset for years to come.
Sharon Heights is currently undergoing phase 1 of a 3 phase masterplan to reimagine the Club. This initial phase includes a $20m+ renovation of our golf course designed by Architect Todd Eckenrode, a new Operations Center of 15,000sf, and installation of a 500kw solar system. Additional phases to come will include a Clubhouse renovation and potential build of new fitness and tennis center.
