Littleton, CO | Ravenna Country Club is an elite, boutique private club nestled against the iconic red rock formations of the Dakota Hogback, Waterton Canyon, and the Pike National Forest in South Littleton (Douglas County), just 25 minutes from downtown Denver. Operating under a deliberate cap of 395 Golf Memberships, Ravenna provides an intimate, uncrowded sanctuary that redefines the modern private club experience—blending rugged Colorado scenery with Tuscan-inspired elegance and an unwavering commitment to hospitality.
Following a remarkable transformation led by the Collins Family, Ravenna has evolved from a developing real estate community into one of the most respected private clubs in the United States. Recognized in the top 5% nationwide as a Platinum Club of America (#143) and named the #1 Best Denver Region Club and #1 Best Private Clubhouse by Colorado AvidGolfer, Ravenna offers an environment defined by continuous reinvestment, agile private leadership, and a culture centered on the philosophy of "unreasonable hospitality."
World-Class Golf Experience
At the heart of the club lies Jay Morrish’s final signature 18-hole championship golf course. Designed as a mountain-links masterpiece, the course features dramatic elevation changes, strategic ravines, and panoramic vistas stretching across the Denver skyline and the Colorado foothills.
Course Vision & Architectural Upgrades: Anchored by signature holes like the dramatic par-3 16th—perched high on the hogback over Waterton Canyon—and a newly redesigned closing sequence (holes 8 and 9) by course architect Kevin Atkinson that leverages natural red rock bluffs and dramatic carry shots over deep ravines.
Tee Time Availability & Pace of Play: Uncrowded access is a core brand promise. With no lottery systems and strict attention to game flow, members enjoy effortless access to the course and predictable, high-quality rounds.
Practice Facilities: An all-grass driving range pairs world-class scenery with well-defined targets and full-flight practice balls, complemented by an expansive putting green and dedicated short game facility.
Golf Operations Mission: The Golf Operations department serves as the central hub of member life. The team is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, competitive, and family-friendly environment—supported by creative tournament schedules, robust junior programming, and top-tier PGA instruction tailored to all skill levels.
Resort-Style Amenities & Facilities
Ravenna offers a complete lifestyle package designed to align member health, leisure, and social connection:
Villa Ravenna (The Clubhouse): A 25,000-square-foot architectural landmark completed in 2022. Inspired by Tuscan design, Villa Ravenna features imported marble columns, commissioned frescoes, curated artwork, and expansive outdoor dining space overlooking a serene waterfall complex on the 18th green.
Culinary & Social Venues: From the Veranda overlooking the red rocks to the main patio overlooking the foothills and the 18th green, Ravenna offers distinctive settings for dining and celebration. Buona La Prima, a barrel-vaulted event space, transports Members and Guests to Ravenna, Italy. Fresh, seasonal menus balance casual and refined dining, while curated wine experiences, creative events, and attentive, personalized service enhance the experience.
The Ravenna Performance + Longevity Center: An 11,000-square-foot resort-style wellness complex featuring a state-of-the-art fitness center, performance training equipment, pool facilities, and holistic lifestyle programming designed to align health span with lifespan.

The Club is preparing to break ground on a new maintenance facility.
Leadership, Governance, and Culture
Unlike traditional member-run clubs subject to shifting board agendas and political friction, Ravenna operates under visionary, family-owned private leadership. CEO Kevin Collins and his executive team maintain an open-door policy, communicating transparently and executing long-term master plans efficiently without relying on member assessments.
Vision Statement: Recognized as a Platinum Club of America, Ravenna Country Club adheres to and exemplifies the seven selection criteria, delivering excellence in every aspect of the experience to consistently exceed member and guest expectations.
Hospitality Philosophy: Inspired by Will Guidara's Unreasonable Hospitality, staff across all departments are empowered to go beyond standard service models, creating personalized, memorable moments that build lifelong friendships and a deep sense of member pride.
