The Pointe is a true “shot-maker” course, lush bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways, with eight water holes, sand and grass bunkers, and tees for all levels of play. Pointe Royale is a world class golfing experience!
This challenging 18-hole, 6,515 yard par 71 course is regarded as the original championship course in the Branson area and is maintained to a high level of standards. The course has 8 water holes and 12 out of the 18 have some type of water hazard. The rolling fairways and mature trees offer a fun challenge to the average golfer, so remember, club selection and a good golf course strategy are a must.

Title: PGA Head Golf Professional
Reports To: General Manager
Supervises: Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Operations Staff
Collaborates With: Golf Course Superintendent, Food & Beverage Director
Participates With: Golf Committee, Men’s/Women’s/Couples’ Golf Leagues, Outside Tournament Contacts
The Head Golf Professional will lead the Golf Operation at Pointe Royale Golf Village and administer a program which provides an exceptional level of service to the membership, guests, patron, and property owners while ensuring the policies and best interests of the Club are met and protected. The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for staffing, successful merchandising, administering a professional and efficient tournament program, and running successful and engaging leagues. With the addition of the new netted driving range, the next Head Professional will have the opportunity to develop instruction and player development programs which can add to the income of all the professional staff. Creating or implementing Junior Golf programs will be at the discretion of the next Head Professional.

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the management and performance of all golf shop and applicable department operations and services; assure high standards and total customer satisfaction
Establish golf shop operations personnel policies and ensure proper hiring, training, supervising, personal development and corrective action in accordance with fair labor standards, safety and established policy
Oversee the development of operating procedures and training manuals for the golf operation
Oversee and manage all golf department staff
Schedules and chairs regular staff meetings focused on customers, operations, revenue growth, cost containment and continuous improvement
Attends as invited committee/staff/public meetings representing the facility
Develop/coordinate the development of annual business plans for the golf operation
Coordinate and ensure all written correspondence, reporting, newsletters, and communications for the golf operation
Coordinate plans with the Food and Beverage Manager for all food and beverage needs, on-course food and beverage needs, banquets, outside events, and catering for all golf functions
Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers/patrons
Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage
Develop and oversee an innovative tournament schedule and golf activities program that services all customer segments
Develop and oversee golf instruction, clinics, golf schools, and player development programs for all customer segments
Develop and oversee a profitable merchandise concession that is consistent with customer/patron demographics and needs
Oversee golf marketing initiatives, including all promotional materials, play recruitment, yield management, golf packages, and outside events, plus the promotion of new golf memberships (where applicable)
Oversee all fiscal areas and performance for the golf operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and correction
Establish sales goals and forecasts for all golf programs and services; generate, monitor, and analyze reports
Maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent and other department heads
Play golf with customers/patrons of all skill levels as time and duties permit
Oversee and enforce golf shop operations policies, procedures, controls, and fee structures to ensure the safekeeping of assets, inventory, and resources
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS
Class A Member of the PGA of America or LPGA preferred.
Head Professional experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.Ability to interact with the members and patrons and engage them in the events and activities at the golf course.
Strong computer skills and ability to utilize golf related applications.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary will be $70,000
Total compensation including lessons and bonuses is anticipated to be between $90,000 - $100,000
